In the spring of 2013, the print edition of the Carlow Chronicle, spearheaded by Stephanie Provenzale, came back to news stands, and we kept up a pretty healthy print run until September of last year. However, we’ve come to the realization that this old model is not an efficient way to distribute news to the Carlow community, and based upon feedback, we also were not publishing the news that Carlow students and staff wanted to read.
So, we’re changing gears. Over this semester, this website will become the new Carlow Chronicle. Instead of simply being a repository of republished articles from print, original content will be here.
This is where you come in. Quite simply…what do you want from us? Some of the feedback around campus indicated that there’s a strong desire for information about…well, students on campus. What are people doing? What projects are they working on? What are the various groups up to, and not simply just announcing events?
This newspaper should be the voice of the students and alumnae/i of Carlow University. Step up and be heard.
Please comment below on what you want to see in your newspaper, or you can always email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
