It showcases the insane obsession bookstore manager Joe (Penn Badgley) has for Beck (Elizabeth Lail), an aspiring writer. Joe is working at the bookstore and instantly falls in love with her instantly. After a brief conversation, he gets her name and phone number. Joe begins finding out Beck’s interests and whereabouts by looking her up on the internet. It doesn’t stop there, he even begins to show up to these places without her knowledge.
