Dear Readers,
Congratulations on getting through 2020, which we all know was a very hard year for many. We made it through a tumultuous semester of online and hybrid learning, the stress surrounding the 2020 election, spikes of COVID-19, lockdowns, and cancellations of long-awaited events. We are all tired of living through historical moments, but at least we can be proud of getting through it!
Thank you to the Fall 2020 staff, you all did some really great work despite our stressful circumstances and the distance between us. We are proud of the way we came together as a team to keep the Chronicle going online. One member of our staff who we already miss, Sam Collier, graduated last semester, and you can read her farewell to Carlow here.
We welcome you all back to class for the Spring 2021 semester. The Chronicle is excited to welcome back some old staff and a few new faces this semester. We hope to bring the Carlow community some good news and entertainment soon.
If you’re interested in joining or contributing to the Chronicle, please email info@carlowchronicle.com or cmmcdonough@live.carlow.edu for more information. The Carlow Chronicle is always looking for contributors, and we especially need more students interested in editing and social media. The Chronicle is a great way to get experience in writing, editing, and working as a team, and we would love to see you join our staff!
We hope you had a great holiday season and winter break. Good luck in your new classes!
Sincerely,
Caitlin McDonough, Editor-in-Chief
